The X48 games come in one of two formats – .ccgame & .zip. Currently only the top three winners (Seavolution, Involved, Bellis Perennis) are available in .ccgame format, where all others are provided as .zip.
To play games that come in .ccgame format you will need:

- At least Windows XP Service Pack 2
- The .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable: Download
- The XNA Framework Redistributable: Download
- The DirectX 9.0c Redistributable: Donwnload
- Visual C# 2008 Express Edition: Download
- Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.0: Download
The games also require an XBox controller or similar, except Bellis Perennis which requires a mouse.
